I'm Erik, the creator of "Connecting Cincy." The idea for this venture came to me while working from home full-time. After years of trying various online dating apps and feeling frustrated by them, I wanted to create a change. I’ve heard from many people who share my dissatisfaction with online dating and are eager to meet others in person.

Over the past few months, I’ve been hosting events, and it’s incredibly fulfilling to see strangers laughing, making new connections, and exchanging phone numbers.

As for me, I’m a fun, sociable IT nerd with a full-time job in technology. I’m a movie enthusiast who loves the outdoors, cooking, exploring new places, and traveling. I’m also a cat lover, with a couple of furry companions who’ve motivated me to start this business so I can spend more time outside with people rather than just with them! And yes I love both cats and dogs.

I’m half Spanish and half American and spent ten years living in Madrid, Spain. I genuinely enjoy making people happy and I believe laughter is the best medicine as it has no side effects. Apart from some rib pain if you have been laughing to hard lol.
